All of the treatments I provide are for professional massage purposes only. I hold the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive towards me or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour. Such behaviours will not be tolerated and will result in a total ban from further treatments , and may also result in criminal proceedings.
Cancellation Policy: 24 hours. Please cancel as soon as possible if a foreseeable event is likely to prevent you from attending, for example, illness or adverse weather conditions.
I require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Failure to attend an appointment with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will incur the charge of half the appointment cost.
An invoice for any cancellation / ‘no show’ charges will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer within 7 days. Following a cancellation, payment must be received before any further bookings can be taken.
In the event that I need to cancel an appointment due to emergencies, illness or bad weather I will inform you at the earliest opportunity and contact you to make suitable alternative arrangements.
Government guidelines will always be followed and as a therapist providing a close contact service, extra precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of myself and my clients. I uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring all equipment used is sanitised between clients.
Should you contract the virus, or are advised to self-isolate, please inform me as soon as possible.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by myself and will remain confidential. Unless required to do so by law, I will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to me without your consent.
Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
Health & Safety Policy
I hold a current First Aid certificate, and professional and public insurance for the services that I provide.
Due to the nature of the treatments I provide and the need for close contact, I will maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and clients are asked to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
If I am unwell suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health, I will not work due to the risks of cross contamination. If this is the case I will contact you to inform you of the issue at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.
Clients under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must give permission for the agreed treatment plan to be performed, and will be requested to co-sign the New Client Consultation Form. They will be invited to stay in the room for the duration of the appointment, and will be expected to remain present throughout the treatment.
